  • Description: We all want to live lives that matter, but just how do we make a positive difference?  Some believe that you must have an impressive title to do so, but that is a mistake.  The best leaders recognize that no matter where you are in the organization, you have influence - and intentionally using that influence to make a positive difference makes you a leader.  This is a highly engaging and powerful session on leadership, breaking this complicated subject down into four simple components: A heart that cares, a head that connects, hands that collaborate, and feet that show courage. I also share 4-5 practical tools that can be applied immediately, such as Give a CRAP and Strengthen the Strengths.

Lead from Where You Stand: How to succeed as a middle-level leader

  • Description: Being a leader in the middle is one of the most difficult things.  You often find yourself stuck between a rock and a hard place.  Yet, with some intentional efforts and the right tools, you can learn how to influence down to those you serve and influence up to those that serve you.  In this session, I share with you some of the challenges of being a middle leader, 5 ways to influence up, and 5 ways to influence down.  With these tools, you’ll not only learn how to survive while caught in the middle but what you can do to lead so well that you’ll get noticed by others (compared to becoming the forgotten middle child).

The 7 Laws of Self - Leadership 

  • Description: The hardest person to lead is yourself, but don't think you can lead others without first mastering control over yourself.  This direct and inviting message encourages you to leave behind past self-destructive habits by replacing them with intentional daily practices of growth.  Master these 7 Laws and you'll become a master of your time, your morning routine, your learning, and your growth thus dramatically increasing your capacity to give to and lead others.

Leading Through Crisis: Standing out as a leader by showing courage, optimism and hope

  • Description: Uncertainty and change.  Two words that make most people uncomfortable and two words that are defining 2020.  What can we do to stay calm?  How can we see the opportunities in the adversity?  This timely and engaging training session will help us stand out as leaders by keeping the right perspective, addressing uncertainty head-on, and being a voice of optimism.  Look, just because the sky of others is falling, does not mean yours has to too and this training session will give you the tools to help you and your team find the opportunity in adversity.

  • Description: Leaders often find emails, spreadsheets, projects, tasks, proposals, and a myriad of minor tasks relatively easy, especially when compared to working with people. Why is that? As one of nature’s most complicated mammals, us humans all react differently, have different interests, and are motivated by different things. So, as a leader what is most important to focus on, when should you be leading and when should you be managing, and how you can ensure that you are leaving a lasting legacy by developing future leaders? This training, based upon over 40 years of experience from John C Maxwell, will help you answer these three questions. Here, you’ll learn the significant differences between leading and managing, you’ll become familiar with a priorities tool, and you’ll deepen your ability to develop future leaders

People are Different, but Predictably Different

  • Description: Most of us just can't figure people out. We get along with some and deal as little as possible with others. This is fine for other people, but you’re different.  You want to build strong connections with everyone.  What if there was a simple way to identify patterns in people that allowed you to tap into their greatest motivations?  What if you could dramatically improve your relationships and help others to accelerate their results through these patterns? Look, individual personality affects every aspect of life, and one of the best things you can do to grow yourself and others is to understand your personality and what naturally drives you.  This session, based upon the Maxwell DISC Personality Method, is intentionally designed to help you recognize the patterns in people.  You’ll learn how to quickly assess the motivations, the strengths, the fears, and the weaknesses of others.  Additionally, you’ll gain the tools necessary to adapt your personality style to any other personality style, thus helping you bring out the best in them.

    • To have participants identify their dominate DISC personality style

    • To understand more about their motivations, fears, strengths and weaknesses

    • To learn how to adapt their style to the style of others – thus creating a more connected, understanding, and communication-strong environment
